Parental Control

Do you know which websites your kids visit? Do you know the people with whom they speak? Are you aware of the dangers to them online? It is your duty to know what's going on while you're not there!

A research invetigating the online activity habits of children, has followed the behavior of children between the ages of 9 and 18, at the same time the parents were asked what they think about their children's activities.
Children's answers were collected discreetly and were not revealed to the parents.
Results showed that parental awareness of children activities were far reasonable then expected.
The fact that 47% of the children surveyed have Internet connection in their room, reinforces the hypothesis that children online activity is often done completely in private, with unlimited hours and without disruption.

  • 60% of the children reported that they were exposed to pornography on the internet (and it shows that reality is much more disturbing).
  • 31% said that they have encountered sexual content or offensive messages via instant messaging applications, but hid it from their parents.
  • 57% of the respondents know how to avoid exposure of websites they visit, using subtle ways such as quickly hide browsed window when someone enters their room or delete browsing history.
  • 25% use more sophisticated methods such as use false names when registering to websites.

The study shows significant differences between awareness of parents whose children are exposed to content they have online and the actual exposure of children: 16% of parents think that the child was exposed to pornography online versus 60% actual exposure.

There are many opinions for and against monitoring children online, which could be perceived as an invasion to the children's privacy.
However, web professionals who are aware of the dangers in the internet, claim that you should monitor the activities of your children, same as you do in real life, if your child will "make a mess" the responsibility will be yours.
Like any other area in your children's life, where you accompany and teach them to distinguish between positive and negative activities, online behavior is no different.

Once installed, SilentMonitoring software will take a snapshot of your screen every few seconds so you can see exactly what is done on the computer. You'll also revieve a detailed view of what sites were visited, with whom they corresponded and what software did they use.

All key typing will be logged, identifying suspicious words, and monitoring conversations over social networks and instant messaging applications.
After the collection process has ended, data is analyzed and displayed using a comprehensive report.

SilentMonitoring software is completely hidden, not detectable, and leaves no trace!
